Signature Vacations

Signature Vacations: now part of Sunwing

Signature Vacations was a Toronto tour operator founded in 1972. For decades Canadians used it for sun holidays in Mexico and the Caribbean. In 2009 its owner, First Choice Canada (part of TUI), agreed to merge Signature with Sunwing. Signature kept its name for some years after that, but the brand has since been folded into Sunwing Vacations.

Today you can't book Signature as a separate operator. The signaturevacations.com address now forwards to sunwing.ca. In WestJet Group's February 2026 list of the brands in its vacation division, Signature isn't mentioned. That list covers Sunwing Vacations, WestJet Vacations, WestJet Vacations Québec, Vacation Express, SellOffVacations.com and Luxe Destination Weddings.

What this means if you liked Signature

Signature was known for well-reviewed resorts and travel in a group. That kind of holiday is now sold through Sunwing Vacations. Its package flights have been on WestJet aircraft since mid-2025.

Booking tips

Ask for a particular resort by name. If you once booked a resort through Signature, we can usually find it in Sunwing's or another operator's current inventory.
Read the flight details. Sunwing packages now use WestJet's baggage and seat-selection rules. Older Signature or Sunwing habits may not apply.
Book group trips early. Weddings and reunions can go to Sunwing's groups team, and room blocks go fastest in peak winter weeks.
